In the House of Mirrors, prostitutes were hired by the CIA to lure men back to the house. Once the men were there, they were given LSD or other drugs without their knowledge. The men were then monitored behind one-way glass as they interacted with the prostitutes. The CIA was interested in seeing how the drugs would affect the men's behavior and whether they would be more likely to reveal secrets while under the influence.
